Structure dimensions 

The stadium has 7 levels and its underground car park has 4.  The stadium can change into three basic colours: white, blue, and red. These pacific colours represent the two teams that share this stadium along with the German national team. The outside material of the stadium is made of transparent elements that are foil air panels that are kept inflated with dry air and it is these panels that cause the stadium to change colour. These lights can be seen from up to 50 miles away that how bright they are and the cost per hour to have them on is 50euro per hour. The way the lower part of the stands is designed is so that the fans can sit at almost eye level to the surface of the pitch and feel even closer to the game without interfering with play. The pitch is 120 m x 83 m

Facilities  and Tours

The car park is Europe’s biggest underground car park with 9,800 parking spaces.

Total of 350 buses spaces and 130 parking spaces for the disabled. Inside the arena there are 2 restaurants and each restraunt can sit 1,000 people and the main restraint Restaurant Arena a la Carte accommodating 400 people. There is 3 nurseries along with multiple cubicles in the arena and some shopping facilities. For the members of the club and other professionals there are the changing rooms used by players. Coaches and referees as well as offices and conference rooms for the business people. Other than home match days, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day guided tours take place daily, the tour may not cover the whole stadium as some places may be off limits for safety reasons. The main shop in the arena is   THE ALLIANZ ARENA SHOP here you can buy tickets for a tour round the arena and all sorts of other merchandise to do with the arena.

Seats and Tickests

The Allianz arena is capable of holding 71,137 people and the actual number of seats in the stadium is 57,343.The lower, middle and higher tiers have 55515 seats and there is also a standing area for 13,740 people. For the VIP’s there are106 box seats capable of containing 1,374 people. There is also 2,200 business seats and seats for the press and another 227 special seats on the ground level for the disabled There are 54 ticket counters around the stadium. The cost of a  single ticket to watch a match can range from €14.00 (standing behind the goal) to €70.00 for seats long side the pitch the average ticket for a seat in the  lower ,middle and higher tiers would cost  €30-€35. The average attendance in the stadium during a game is 69,000. 

   

Allianz Arena

Introduction

The Allianz Arena is located in Munich, Germany. Construction on the stadium began in 2002 and the first match was played in 2005.It is now home to FC Bayern  Munich and TSV 1860.The German national squad also use this pitch.  There is allot to talk about with stadium as it one of the greatest stadiums in the world and the 3rd largest stadium in Germany costing 340 million to build. In this report I will give a short description on some of the things that this stadium has to offer and its facilities.
